I know I have been slacking lately with the posts, but SOO much has been going on. I'm about to go on winter break && it's finals week, so I've been trying to dedicate all my time to my studies. But don't worry, I will have a CRAPLOAD of posts when finals are done. BTW, it's my sister's 1st birthday today! Happy birthday Jayden! Anywhoo, I will be back soon. Toodles!

November Favorites

We are now in the first week of December, so I figured I'd share with you a few beauty products I've been loving this past month. Hope you all enjoy! :)

Loreal HIP Jelly Balm in Delectable
 So, I love love LOVE this lip balm. It's tinted a pinkish-red, so when swiped on, you're left with that "just-bitten" look. Sexy, right? AND it smells like caramel! It's a little on the sticky side, but not too sticky where a lip brush would be essential. I go right in with my fingertips. I stole this from my mom, && I think she got it on sale at Walgreens, but I believe this product is discontinued (hence the sale price!). I would still keep my eyes peeled to see if it's on sale anywhere. I would also check online.

Maybelline: Pulse Perfection Vibrating Mascara
Lately, I've been seeing make-up lines come out with suped-up && tricked-out mascaras, whether they feature futuristic shaped brushes, super lash growth formulas, or even tiny, built-in motors that vibrate. Lucky me, I stumbled upon this mascara in Marc's miscellaneous section (which is HUGE!) for only 2 bucks! Which is weird, because I've seen it priced at $10 or more everywhere else, including Marc's regular cosmetic section. Hey, I'm not complaining because I enjoy this mascara! By pressing the little button on the lid, you can feel the vibrations elongate && separate your lashes. I use this a lot of times when I'm in a hurry, skipping curling my lashes. I don't know if I would pay the full price of ten bucks for it, but it's definitely worth the two!

88 Metal Mania Palette
Another thing I have been ABSOLUTELY adoring is my 88 Metal Mania Palette that I ordered from Ebay. It was about $20, including shipping, && I'm SOO pleased! Compared to my 88 Matte Palette I ordered from BH Cosmetics (which was $30 and SUCKS). the colors are much more pigmented and just lovely for fall && winter. Each shadow is slightly smaller than a dime, and the array of colors are beautiful! I'm addicted! && the metallic finish is so flattering. I experiment && try out new looks all the time, from a purple smokey eye to a copper sunrise look. Definite must-have for the colder seasons!

These nifty little pads I picked up from Target for only a buck! Part of e.l.f.'s regular line, these are so convenient, whether at home or on-the-go. It contains 18 pads, which are soaked with a very gentle eye make-up remover. I use one pad (one side per eye) to take off my eyeshadow && eyebrow powder. You do have to work at it to get mascara off, but you can easily use vaseline to solve that problem.

Suave Naturals Body Lotion in Cherry Blossom
 I always use Suave skin products: lotion, body wash, etc., but I never buy the lotion in any scent (I always get Cocoa Butter && all the other boring ones && I don't like lotion to interfere with my perfume). So while I was in the lotion section at Walmart, this attracted me because it was pink! Lol. On the back of the bottle, it says "Compare to Bath && Body Works", and OMG, they are right! This smells soooo lovely && light, I love putting this on right before I go to bed. && it doesn't clash with my perfume! Plus, it's less than 3 bucks :). Steal!

50% Off Wet && Wild!

So the saturday after Thanksgiving, I was at Walgreens && they were having a huge sale on a lot of their makeup, woo-hoo! So I picked up a couple things from Wet && Wild.

I’m just now getting into blush, so I picked up this Coloricon blusher in Pearlescent Pink, which normally sells for $2.99. I’m trying to stick within the pink/peach color range since that’s what I read usually flatters my skin tone. I don’t know if you can tell by the swatch, but it gives me just a hint of a soft peachy-pink glow. I plan on trying another color in the line.
(Left to right: Morbid, How I Met Your Magenta, Disturbia)
I also picked up two Craze nail colors & & one Megalast nail color, which normally sell for $1.99. Morbid is a shimmery, silvery green that reminds me of pine trees (Christmas!). How I Met Your Magenta had duplicates named Lust, so you can probably find this color under either name. It’s such a pretty, iridescent, watermelon pink. So festive :). && Disturbia immediately made me think of Rihanna’s video when I read the name. It’s a very dark plum purple, && RiRi’s video is very dark as well! Haha, lame comparison. Look for these in future NOTW’s!
