Finals :/

I know I have been slacking lately with the posts, but SOO much has been going on. I'm about to go on winter break && it's finals week, so I've been trying to dedicate all my time to my studies. But don't worry, I will have a CRAPLOAD of posts when finals are done. BTW, it's my sister's 1st birthday today! Happy birthday Jayden! Anywhoo, I will be back soon. Toodles!

November Favorites

We are now in the first week of December, so I figured I'd share with you a few beauty products I've been loving this past month. Hope you all enjoy! :)

Loreal HIP Jelly Balm in Delectable
So, I love love LOVE this lip balm. It's tinted a pinkish-red, so when swiped on, you're left with that "just-bitten" look. Sexy, right? AND it smells like caramel! It's a little on the sticky side, but not too sticky where a lip brush would be essential. I go right in with my fingertips. I stole this from my mom, && I think she got it on sale at Walgreens, but I believe this product is discontinued (hence the sale price!). I would still keep my eyes peeled to see if it's on sale anywhere. I would also check online.

Maybelline: Pulse Perfection Vibrating Mascara
Lately, I've been seeing make-up lines come out with suped-up && tricked-out mascaras, whether they feature futuristic shaped brushes, super lash growth formulas, or even tiny, built-in motors that vibrate. Lucky me, I stumbled upon this mascara in Marc's miscellaneous section (which is HUGE!) for only 2 bucks! Which is weird, because I've seen it priced at $10 or more everywhere else, including Marc's regular cosmetic section. Hey, I'm not complaining because I enjoy this mascara! By pressing the little button on the lid, you can feel the vibrations elongate && separate your lashes. I use this a lot of times when I'm in a hurry, skipping curling my lashes. I don't know if I would pay the full price of ten bucks for it, but it's definitely worth the two!

88 Metal Mania Palette
Another thing I have been ABSOLUTELY adoring is my 88 Metal Mania Palette that I ordered from Ebay. It was about $20, including shipping, && I'm SOO pleased! Compared to my 88 Matte Palette I ordered from BH Cosmetics (which was $30 and SUCKS). the colors are much more pigmented and just lovely for fall && winter. Each shadow is slightly smaller than a dime, and the array of colors are beautiful! I'm addicted! && the metallic finish is so flattering. I experiment && try out new looks all the time, from a purple smokey eye to a copper sunrise look. Definite must-have for the colder seasons!

These nifty little pads I picked up from Target for only a buck! Part of e.l.f.'s regular line, these are so convenient, whether at home or on-the-go. It contains 18 pads, which are soaked with a very gentle eye make-up remover. I use one pad (one side per eye) to take off my eyeshadow && eyebrow powder. You do have to work at it to get mascara off, but you can easily use vaseline to solve that problem.

Suave Naturals Body Lotion in Cherry Blossom
I always use Suave skin products: lotion, body wash, etc., but I never buy the lotion in any scent (I always get Cocoa Butter && all the other boring ones && I don't like lotion to interfere with my perfume). So while I was in the lotion section at Walmart, this attracted me because it was pink! Lol. On the back of the bottle, it says "Compare to Bath && Body Works", and OMG, they are right! This smells soooo lovely && light, I love putting this on right before I go to bed. && it doesn't clash with my perfume! Plus, it's less than 3 bucks :). Steal!

50% Off Wet && Wild!

So the saturday after Thanksgiving, I was at Walgreens && they were having a huge sale on a lot of their makeup, woo-hoo! So I picked up a couple things from Wet && Wild.

I’m just now getting into blush, so I picked up this Coloricon blusher in Pearlescent Pink, which normally sells for $2.99. I’m trying to stick within the pink/peach color range since that’s what I read usually flatters my skin tone. I don’t know if you can tell by the swatch, but it gives me just a hint of a soft peachy-pink glow. I plan on trying another color in the line.
(Left to right: Morbid, How I Met Your Magenta, Disturbia)
I also picked up two Craze nail colors & & one Megalast nail color, which normally sell for $1.99. Morbid is a shimmery, silvery green that reminds me of pine trees (Christmas!). How I Met Your Magenta had duplicates named Lust, so you can probably find this color under either name. It’s such a pretty, iridescent, watermelon pink. So festive :). && Disturbia immediately made me think of Rihanna’s video when I read the name. It’s a very dark plum purple, && RiRi’s video is very dark as well! Haha, lame comparison. Look for these in future NOTW’s!

Sophisticated Stripes

Hello lovies! Sigh, I'm really bad when its comes to posts, but I've been having camera trouble lately :/. Anywho, I just wanted to share with you all what I wore today, seeing the weather has finally gotten cooler.
Hehe, taken in the bathroom cause I'm at school && my boyfriend wasn't around to take it for me :(.

I absolutely love this blazer, I scored it at a thrift store for 4 bucks! The striped top I bought in a larger size so it would hang looser and have more of a relaxed feel. It has a huge lace && metal print heart on it, adorable! Bullhead grey skinnies && thigh high black boots (faux suede). The necklace is one of my fav! A girly, blinged-out skull on pearls, && a pink heart that says Betsey Johnson (who it's by, I love her!). Plus, only $10 off of Ebay. I know right?! Pearl bracelet, black gem ring, && big, black post earrings. Also, a black ruffle headband that I wore in my last OOTD. My thigh-high boots are also my favorite at the moment. High boots are so in this season!
Well I hope you guys liked my OOTD!

Diamonds Are Forever

So since I don't have class on Tuesday, I normally get fully dressed (the rest of week, eh..lol). It was kinda brisk, so perfect sweater with no coat weather.
So this thrifty little number is exactly that...thrifty! Haha lame, but I got this colorful, oversized sweater from Village Discount Outlet (aka: V-Town. Ayeee!). I fuh-reaking love that place. So many great finds! Lots of vintage stuff too. I got this sweater last year, so I can't remember the price...3 bucks? RIGHT. Such a steal. It covers my hiney too, so I paired it with some black leggings from Gabriel Bros (like 6 bucks, SO warm).

I threw on some light grey legwarmers cause they pulled together the kinda 80's comfy...retro kinda look? Idk, I hate the word retro (look at me, I'm a RETRO REJECT! bleh). The legwarmers are old, so who knows where they came from, but the red buckle flats are from Wet Seal! 10 dollars maybe? Ahhh.
So I kept the accessories pretty minimal, I mean the outfit is pretty stand-out...ish? Ha, yeah, it pretty much stands out already, so I threw on a headband (ugh, my hair is at such an awkward length in this growing back process, I HATE it! :/). Simple black flower headband from H&M for $2.95.

Simple, post earrings (don't mind the silver && pearl ones, I always wear those). Ahhh, these earrings, I am SO excited to talk about them! Okay, so they're lips if you can see, && they have a single little rhinestone in the corner. They're Betsey Johnson (LOVE!), && get this...I got them off of Ebay for less than 3 dollars! Woot, woot, STEAL! AND shipping was free. WHATT!!! I love Ebay. I'm gonna do an Ebay haul soon to show you guys what else I got && so ALL OF YOU can come up on great deals too! Yay!

Getting back on traaaack....lastly, I threw on this charming little owl necklace. ALSO, off of Ebay...for $1.98. Also, free shipping. I just have a thing for owl jewelry lately...hmm, weird. I love this necklace though. Such good quality for 2 bucks! Anywhoo, that was my OOTD, I hope you guys enjoyed!

So ummm...

So yeah, umm....I'm new to this blogspot thing...but I have a tumblr, so I decided to make one of these too...&& dedicate it solely to my personal life. It's still gonna be fashion && whatnot, but strictly MY stuff, you feel me? Anywhoo, let's get to the blogging!
